Full-Time Senior Peoplesoft Project Manager
Job Description
This position is responsible for leading complex projects endorsed by the organization. This position focuses on utilizing a standardized project management methodology to implement application systems. Duties include identification of resource requirements, project plans, and project schedules. The position leads the activities within Information Services and other areas affected by scope relating to implementation of the assigned projects. Works with I.S. personnel to administer the process of analyzing requirements and make acquisition recommendations for hardware, software, and consulting services. This position assures analysis and management of the total needs placed on the Information Services department. Further, it is the position that is responsible for the integration of these new applications with other applications supported by Information Services.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; and 4-5 years related experience, with emphasis in applications support, support and operations, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licensures/Certifications:
Completion of University of Washington Certification program in Project Management or comparable program preferred.
Experience and Skills:
4-5 years experience in a project management capacity implementing multi-departmental or enterprise applications.
4–5 years project management experience in one or more of the following PeopleSoft applications: Human Capital Management (HCM); Financial Manager; and Supply Chain.
Thorough working knowledge of project management processes with a demonstrated track record of implementing custom and/or turn key applications on time, on budget within organizational guidelines and expectations. Thorough working knowledge of healthcare and hospital operations. Formal training and/or education in leadership and human relations.
Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage simultaneous, multiple conflicting priorities. Ability to manage user expectations and strong conflict resolution skills.
Business Processing reengineering skills. Ability to identify and maintain project scope (both in and out of scope). Demonstrated strong Change Management experience. Ability to effectively manage at multiple organizational levels.
Strong organization and presentation skills.
